Hog Roasties want your roast to be delivered to you in peak condition. A hog provided for roasting can vary considerably in weight, and as a result will require many hours of slow cooking in advance of the serving time. In fact many of our roasts actually start their cooking process in the early hours of the morning.
As every good cook knows well cooked meat is capable of actually falling of the bone. Clearly we don’t want this to happen and therefore the last few hours of cooking will be done at your venue to ensure the hog roast will arrive in good condition. It is important therefore that we accurately calculate the right time to deliver the hog roast hog roast to your venue.
We want to meat to stay at the same core temperature during the delivery process and as a result restrict the delivery time to not more than 30 minutes. The map below provides an approximate guide to what can be achieved in that time. We may need to review your order however if your venue is located a significant distance from the main arterial routes and thus increases the delivery time beyond 30 minutes.
